The Combat Knife

The combat knife is your last ditch effort, (or backstabbing tool depending on which side you're on), weapon. It is given to all GDF Classes, and Strogg Infiltrators.

The GDF’s Combat Knife is issued as a weapon of last resort when all 
ammunition has been exhausted. Use the Combat Knife for silent melee 
kills. You'll do extra Backstab damage from behind. -Advanced Player's Guide
