The Command Center is the heart of the Strogg moon base. It houses the base's primary computer systems, as well as its main reactor.
The level features a series of natural caves, which are covered with a layer of frost, making some of the floors slippery to walk on. There is also a series of rooms filled with machinery and a large courtyard, where the reactor shutdown switch can be found, watched over by a fearsome guardian and his master.
Shutting down the reactor would start a chain reaction that would destroy the moon base and effectively put an end to the Strogg counter-fleet. The player will have to return to the Cargo Bay and evacuate before that happens.
The level features lower gravity, which allows the player to make higher and longer jumps, or fall from greater heights without taking damage.

Secrets
- #1) At the start of the level filled with few Stimpacks on the right, look at the reactor to your left. It has a button in the upper middle section, so shoot it, and claim your Ammo Pack.
- #2) In the ice cave area, there is a suit of Combat Armor frozen in the ice. Break the ice to claim it.
