The Court of Death is a exclusive (until 2021 Re-Release) deathmatch level for Quake 64. It's actually a cut map created by American McGee named Acrophobia.

The original map was removed because of time constraints and left incomplete. Nonetheless, the map was later finished by David Namaksy and included in Nintendo 64's port who found it on a development CD from id Software.

Another developer (Jon_Rambo[HPB]) at Ion Storm (the company founded by John Romero) has found the map on same development CD and decided to restore it and release it for PC version of Quake in 1999.

The map consists of a big open level with a structure in the center. There are also some platforms with Rocket Launchers and Grenade Launchers. There is also a wind tunnel at the bottom of the level which takes the player to the front of the structure.

This map can be downloaded here: [1].

Interestingly, the sky from this level is green which isn't seen in any stock id level. It's yellow instead in the N64 version.
