DM Bot is a modification for Quake made on August 23, 1996 by Nathaniel Gorham. This modification is an alteration of the earlier 1.0 release of TM Bot.

This modification is mostly intended for Deathmatch; the Enforcer is able to distinguish between friend and foe, not hurting teammates and automatically attacking opponents. Unlike TM Bot, this modification gives the bot the ability to attack other players.

The bot is extremely powerful for Single Player games, Deathmatch required a more powerful companion since players are harder to kill than monsters. Thus the Enforcer has been given a powerful and accurate (note it does not track the player, meaning it is relatively easy to evade) Nailgun that can make quick work of most opponents, dealing around 30 damage per shot.

Furthermore, the bot has been made more intelligent in this version by giving the Enforcer the ability to switch targets on death. Instead of stopping and seeking another target like the vanilla Monsters, this bot is able to start attacking another opponent immediately upon the death of the first.
