The Forgotten Castle is the first secret level of Dimension of the Past. In order to access it, the player will have to find the hidden exit in The Dark Days. This level ups the ante in terms of difficulty by introducing the Shambler. Players will have to face these heavy monsters, along with Fiends, Ogres, Death Knights, Zombies and Knights and make every bullet count, since ammunition is not abundant. It was probably designed with more experienced players in mind, assuming newcomers wouldn't find the secret exit that leads to it. This level also introduces the Rocket Launcher. It has a Medieval theme and features a huge lift, at the beginning, as its most remarkable feature.

Secrets

• #1) After riding the first elevator down while fighting Shambler, jump on the boxes and through the window on the side. There lies the Yellow Armor and Small Box of Shells.
• #2) After leaving #1 through the door, continue straight ahead and jump over and behind those boxes on the right. Follow the corridor around the corner. You will find Nailgun (Q1), Large Box of Nails & 25 Health there.
• #3) After taking the first Biosuit and swimming through the acid, there is Grenade Launcher and Small Box of Rockets hidden under the raised woodish pathway.
• #4) After fighting the next Shambler and jumping over the pile of boxes upstairs, you should see Red Armor on your left between two last columns on the other side. To get there, jump over using the steps hidden behind those three boxes on the far side of the room.
