The Corridors of Time is the second episode of Dissolution of Eternity, which brings the original Quake's story to its conclusion. It can be accessed directly from the introductory level, skipping the entire first episode (though this is not recommended).
The episode's style is truly unique, as most levels represent ancient cultures - Greco-Roman, Egyptian and Mesoamerican. Other levels are a mix of Medieval and Runic styles. Some of the levels feature a powerful Guardian that has to be defeated in order to beat the level.
The Elemental Fury levels offer 4 challenges to the player - the tests of earth, air, water and fire.
The episode's final boss is the Dragon - the mightiest creature in the game. It guards Quake's Temporal Energy Converter, which must be destroyed in order to finish the game.
