Tier 3 - Combat is the third tier of Quake 3 Arena. The battle intensifies with more powerful opponents, weapons and powerups. The tier has a distinct Gothic style and all maps have impressive architecture and decorations. The final battle takes place at Hell's Gate, guarded by the Chitinid mystic Klesk. Victory over this bizarre creature will distinguish the player as a true Warrior.
