Gorre appears in and is a playable character in Quake III Arena. He is an enemy warrior in Tier 3 in the single-player mode of Quake III Arena. He favors the Shotgun and Rocket Launcher.
Biography[]

Born in the breeder tank of a genetics lab and nurtured in a cybronics workshop, Gorre was created to be the ultimate warrior...at least in his own mind.

Gorre is another of the Visor clo...um...replication. Like his countless brothers, Gorre began life in a vat of synthetic amniotic fluid and first came to awareness as a fully grown adult. If he were half as good as he thinks, he'd be mopping the floors with Orbb and calling shots on Xaero.[1]
- Prima Guide biography
The clones of Visor (see the "Visor" section) are many in the Arena Eternal, but few have risen to the level of Gorre. According to Gorre, no one is better than he is in the arenas, but there's a reason he's in the third tier instead of a higher one. He's certainly capable of giving you a serious challenge, but don't let his constant bragging throw you off. If he were as good as he thinks, he'd be challenging Xaero for dominance.
In many ways, Gorrre is the quintessential fighter. He has no major preferences, other than a slight penchant for the railgun and the rocket launcher. He also doesn't actively seek out particular power-ups and doesn't camp more or less than average. Most of his commentary is about his favorite subject, himself, and unfavorable comparisons of you to him.
Trivia[]
- In Quake Live, his model lacks the the blood and wounds that are normally present.
- In the Quake Champions comic series, Gorre appears but is not mentioned by name. Instead, he is referred to as 'number 18'. He has been redesigned; while he looks similar to Visor, he has a different hairstyle and a slightly different mask. His metal parts are colored gray.[2]
- He also appears in Quake Champions lore, in Visor's lore scrolls, part 7.
