In Quake 4, the Health Shard (also known as a Stimpack) is an item that gives health that will go above the player's maximum limit (100 points). They can usually be seen in groups. Health Shards are not available in Quake 4 single player.
Health Shards give out 5 Health, and are often found in a cluster of 3 to 5, sometimes even more.
