In Quake 2, Invulnerability makes you invincible to all attacks for 30 seconds. During that time, a red glow will envelop you, alerting others to your position.
- In single player, Invulnerability is very useful when one has low health, but there aren't any Medikits nearby. Instead of having to play strategically so that you don't get killed, just use it and charge the enemies with whatever you want.
- Invulnerability is also very useful against the final boss, Makron, also it is useful when dealing with multiple tough enemies like Tank.
- In MP, Invulnerability will allow you to rack up a ton of kills. Take out your favorite weapon and go to town with it!
- If you see somebody with Invulnerability, run! The red glow surrounding them is a big hint that you need to get your ass in gear. Keep running until you're far away from him. You can, though, knock him off platforms and edges with weapons that cause splash damage, like the Rocket Launcher.
