Sergeant Jarlsberg is a character featured in Quake IV. He is a member of Viper Squad in the Space Marine Corps and participates in the Second Invasion of Stroggos.

Jarlsberg is found in the Recomposition Center, tied up on a wall as a test subject for a Lightning Gun. Every few seconds, he gets zapped by a charge from the Lightning Gun while screaming in pain. When Corporal Kane disables the test, Jarlsberg dies, presumably due to his injuries from all the shocks he had already endured.
