KYSENTY2 is a Single Player and Multiplayer level in Aftershock for Quake. This level is inspired by MAP01: Entryway for Doom II. There is no in-game name for this level, nor is there any documentation. This level is therefore named after the filename.

An update to KYSENTRY, the main addition to this version was support for Single Player and therefore Monsters as well as an exit leading to E1M1: the Slipgate Complex. Additional resources, such as a Pentagram of Protection and some Ammo, was also added to the Super Nailgun room. A balcony with Yellow Armor and multiple 25 Health was also added to the aforementioned room. The Quad Damage room was also extended with a section under the Water.

This level was later updated to become Entryway III - Quaked, which focused primarily on improving the Ammo balance as well as adding a few improvements to the geometry.

Quick Level Completion

  • Proceed forward, then drop to the lower level.
  • Continue forward up a flight of stairs, then head down the corridor to the end.
  • Turn right, then continue down the corridor to reach an intersection.
  • Turn right, then proceed down the corridor to reach the next room.
  • Go through the doorway in the upper left corner of the room.
  • Cross the room, then drop into the pool of Water.
  • Turn around in the Water, then go through the large doorway to your right.
  • Proceed forward to exit the level.

Collect the Double-Barrelled Shotgun and Rocket Launcher in front of you. Proceed forward to reach a platform overlooking the next room, then turn around to kill a Spawn behind the starting location. Turn around once more to kill the Enforcer, Grunt, and Rottweiler on the lower floor. Turn left to proceed up a ramp, then turn right to proceed up a second ramp. Continue forward to reach a wall, then turn right. Kill the Scrag to your right, then proceed forward to collect the Thunderbolt. Continue forward to reach a wall, then turn right. Proceed down the platform to kill a Death Knight, then drop to the floor below. Turn around, then head up the staircase to your left to reach the next room. Kill the Zombie, then proceed down the corridor to collect a Nailgun. Turn right, then head down the corridor while ignoring a doorway to the left. Continue down the corridor to kill a Zombie, then turn right to kill another Zombie. Ignore the doorway straight ahead, instead turning left and heading forward to reach an alcove. Collect the Rocket Launcher and Rockets. Turn around, then head up the corridor to return to the ignored doorway on the right. Turn right to head down the corridor and reach the next room.

Kill the Vore to the right, the Shambler to the left, and the Shambler straight ahead. Aim upwards to kill the Scrag to your left, the Scrag to your right, and the Scrag straight ahead. Collect the Double-Barrelled Shotgun in the middle of the room, the Shells under the ramp to the left, and the Shells under the ramp to the right. Climb the ramp closer to you, then ignore the ramp straight ahead while collecting the Cells to the right and the Nails to the left. Turn left, then proceed to the middle of the platform to collect a Yellow Armor. Follow the platform to the opposite end, then turn left and continue forward to reach a ramp that ascends to the right. Turn right to proceed up the ramp, then turn left and head forward to collect the Shells. Turn around, then cross the platform to the opposite side to collect the Rockets. Turn right, then continue to the middle of the platform to kill the Death Knight and collect two 25 Health. Proceed forward to the opposite side to collect the Cells, then turn right. Head down the platform past the previously ignored ramp to reach the Nails on the opposite side.

Return to the previously ignored doorway near the Rocket Launcher alcove, then turn right to head down it. Proceed forward while ignoring the Teleporter to the right to reach a platform, jump onto the platform to collect a Super Nailgun. Turn right, then kill the Shambler to your left. Proceed forward and slightly to the left to collect the Nails. Kill the 3 Fiends straight ahead and the 4 Knights to your left. Collect the Shells to your right on a staircase leading to a window to the right. Head to the upper left corner of the room to reach a platform, head on the platform to collect a Pentagram of Protection. Turn around, then head up the ramp on the far left side of the room. Turn right at the top, then kill the Ogre on the platform while collecting the Yellow Armor and three 25 Health. Return to the lower portion of the room, then go through the previously ignored Teleporter. Kill the Ogre straight ahead, then turn around to collect the Green Armor. Ascend the ramp straight ahead while killing the Death Knight, then turn left at the top. Proceed forward to climb a ramp and reach a wall, then turn left to descend another ramp and kill a Death Knight. Proceed forward to ascend a ramp, then turn left to descend another ramp. Continue forward to kill the Ogre and collect the Grenade Launcher. Kill the Scrag to your left. Turn left, then drop to the floor below. Go through the doorway in the upper right corner of the room, then kill the Shambler to your left. Proceed forward to the middle of the room, then turn right. Head to the middle of the platform to kill a Shambler and collect a Quad Damage. Ignore the Teleporter straight ahead as it leads back to the starting room. Turn left, then drop into the Water straight ahead. Turn around to kill the 5 Rotfish straight ahead. Collect the Biosuit to your left, the Cells to your right, and the 25 Health directly in front of you. Collect the Thunderbolt in the upper left corner of the room and the Double-Barrelled Shotgun straight ahead. Turn right, then kill the 2 Spawns in the upper left corner of the room. Swim forward to reach a doorway. Kill the Fiend straight ahead, then proceed forward towards the far wall to reach the Level Exit.
