Private Kasanoff is a character featured in Quake IV. He is a member of Warthog Squad in the Space Marine Corps and participates in the Second Invasion of Stroggos.

Second Invasion of Stroggos[]
Kasanoff is seen in the Perimeter Defense Station while escorting Tech Newberry. He is stationed in the main power room with Lance Corporal Greene and Private First Class Marlin. When a sudden explosion occurs in the main power generator, they immediately ask Marlin to use his scanner, but he reports the Strogg responsible for it have left. When Private First Class Jones gets killed by the Grunt after the locked door has been opened, the three Marines come to assist Newberry and Corporal Kane to take it out. They then take defensive positions while Kane advances towards the defence grid controls.
Trivia[]
- During the second part of the mission, the Marines start losing ground in the station, ultimately leading to casualties. It is unknown if Kasanoff is one of them, so it is presumed he survived.
