Kiss of Death is a Single Player and Multiplayer level. There is no in-game name for this level, the name comes from documentation included with the file.

This level was originally going to be included as part of an upcoming Total Conversion known as Underground III. Due to a Deathmatch competition on Gamesmania, Kayos decided to enter with this level.

The timestamp is off by a month, it was released in October of 1996, not September.

Quick Level Completion

  • Turn right, then head onto the Elevator.
  • Turn right at the top of the Elevator, then step onto the balcony.
  • Turn right once more.
  • Proceed forward through a doorway and Door, then continue forward to exit the level.

Head to your right to collect the 2 Shells and 2 Nails. Turn right, then go through the door to your right. Pass by an Elevator to your right to collect the Double-Barrelled Shotgun, then turn right to look into the rest of the room. Pass the Elevator once more to collect the 2 Rockets and 2 Cells on the far side of the room. Turn around, then head up the Elevator you previously ignored. Drop to the platform straight ahead, then turn left to collect the Grenade Launcher and two 25 Health. Return to the Elevator and ride it to the top, then proceed forward onto the balcony across from the platform you were previously on. Collect the Green Armor to your left, then turn right and head through the doorway on the far side of the room. Head to your left to collect the Rocket Launcher beside a series of windows. Straight ahead is a staircase leading back to the starting room, so instead turn around and go through the doorway to the right of the one you entered. Turn left with the staircase to end up on a bridge over a pool of Water, collect the Yellow Armor straight ahead. Turn left and head through the doorway, then follow the corridor as it veers to the left to collect the Grenade Launcher and three 25 Health. Continuing further just brings you back to the doorway beside the one you used in the starting room, so instead return to the Water bridge.

Ignore the ramp to your right, instead proceeding forward to another intersection. Turn left, then head into the room to collect the Super Nailgun. Ignore the Teleporter straight ahead, there are three in this level that will take you to the same room, instead turning around and heading back to the Water bridge. Turn left, then head down the corridor to collect a Ring of Shadows. Ride the Elevator up, then turn right at the top to collect the Grenade Launcher on a bridge over a pool of Lava. Ignore the route straight ahead, it just leads to the upper floor of the starting room, which you will reach another way. Return to the Water bridge, then turn right and jump over the railing to land in the Water. As you do this you will pass an Elevator that allows you to return to the Water bridge. Turn around to look into the room. Swim to your right to collect the two 25 Health, Shells, and Rockets. Swim to the upper left corner to collect the Biosuit, then continue forward through a doorway. Turn left into the next corridor, then swim to the end before swimming upwards to reach the surface. Turn around at the top, then climb onto the alcove to collect the 2 Cells and Thunderbolt. Ignore the Teleporter straight ahead, the 2nd leading to the same area, and instead retrace your steps to the Water bridge. Head down the ramp you previously ignored, then follow the corridor to the end to collect a Double-Barrelled Shotgun.

Follow the corridor as it heads to your right, then turn right to continue down the corridor. Ignore the Door to your right, it leads back to the starting room on the opposite side from the doorway you left the room with. Instead, continue down the corridor to collect the Rocket Launcher. Turn right, then head down the corridor to reach the 3rd Teleporter. Go through this one to land in a round room, head to the middle to collect the Pentagram of Protection. In each of the four corners is a Teleporter with a small hallway in front of it, each Teleporter just sends you back to the middle of the room. Proceed into each corridor in a clockwise fashion; collecting the Grenade Launcher, Nailgun, Double-Barrelled Shotgun, and Rocket Launcher. Turn around to look into the room once more, then proceed forward to land on a Wind Tunnel that will bring you to a Teleporter pillar above the rest of the room, taking you back to the starting room. Head to your left to collect the two 25 Health, one beside each pillar. Ignore the Elevator beside the left pillar for the time being, instead continuing forward towards a large cross. Ignore the staircase to your left, it leads back to the Water room, instead collecting the Nailgun beside the Door. The opposite side of the Door was where you were previously to using the Teleporter, so collect the 2 Rockets in opposite upper corners before turning around to look into the room. Head below the middle of the cross, then jump to reach another Wind Tunnel that will deposit you on a platform overlooking the upper level with a Quad Damage. Kill the 4 Zombies, 2 on each balcony to your left and right, then drop to the lower floor. Return to the Elevator you previously ignored, then head up it to reach the upper balconies. Turn left to step onto the balcony, then turn left once more to follow it to the far side while collecting the Yellow Armor. Turn around, then cross the balcony once more before moving to your right to reach the middle section of balcony. Ignore the doorway to your left, it just leads to the Lava bridge. Instead, drop to your left to collect the 2 Shells to the left of the Wind Tunnel. Retrace your steps, then drop to your right to collect the 2 Nails to the right of the Wind Tunnel. Return to the middle section of balcony, then turn right. Straight ahead is the doorway leading to the exit, before heading here head to the balcony to your right. Turn right, then head down the balcony to collect the Super Nailgun. Return to the doorway you previously ignored, then head down it while going through the Door to reach the exit Teleporter.
