The Lower Mines are the deepest reaches of the Strogg mining operations. Deep within the crust of Stroggos there are considerable Steedium crystal deposits, as well as numerous lava pits. Few Strogg inhabit these depths, yet this doesn't make the place any safer.
The area is unstable and tremors are frequently felt throughout the mine. Some of the mining equipment is potentially unsafe and could easily crush the careless.
