Ludovic Texier is a level designer from France. Starting out by designing Quake levels, he was hired by Ion Storm, a company led by John Romero, in 1997 as one of the artists. Texier contributed to Daikatana, one of the most infamous games of all time.
Texier continued his work as an artist by designing the Arm Cannon of Matroid Prime, which was later scrapped and resulted in him not getting credit. He has since joined Ubisoft, where he has contributed as an artist on Brotherhood, Black Flag, and Unity for the Assassin's Creed series.
