Mackey McCandlish, nicknamed Avatar, is a level designer. He designed only one map, in conjunction with fellow designer Tom Mustaine, for Quake’s first official add-on: Scourge of Armagon. Previously, McCandlish designed a map, MAP12: Kinetics, for the noncommerical 1995 Doom MegaWAD Memento Mori.
