Marsbase is a Single Player and Multiplayer level. As was standard for levels by Dan C. Trethaway III, the level name was only shown in the documentation, the in-game name just was a support email link. In Multiplayer, it was intended for 6 or more players.

This was the second level in the base series by Dan C. Trethaway III, the first being MOONBASE. There was one hidden area in the level with the Quad Damage for attentive players to find.

Walkthrough

Ignore the doorway straight ahead. Turn right to collect the 25 Health, then turn around to collect the Super Nailgun. Head through the doorway you previously ignored, you will now be on the top floor of the main Elevator of the level. The Button on the far side could allow access to the lower levels, ignore this and instead head through the doorway to the right while turning right. Kill the Shambler to your right, then exit the ship while heading straight ahead. Collect the Nailgun, then collect the Nails to your right before going through the Doors beside it. Kill the 2 Grunts, then collect the Double-Barrelled Shotgun in the upper right corner. This is one of the four Elevators on the sides of the level, each area heading towards the central hub, with Buttons allowing access between the two levels. Return to the outer courtyard, then head to your right to collect the Shells. Turn left, then cross to the far side of the room to collect the Cells before heading through the Doors beside it. Kill the 2 Grunts and collect the Double-Barrelled Shotgun from the second Elevator side, then head back to the courtyard. Proceed forward to collect the Nailgun, then start heading diagonally to your left. Kill the Shambler straight ahead, then proceed to the pathway to collect the Nailgun. Turn left, then head through the next set of Doors. Kill the 2 Grunts and collect the Double-Barrelled Shotgun from the third Elevator side, then head back to the courtyard. Head up one of the ramps of the ship to reach the roof, then collect the Rocket Launcher. Turn left, then drop to the ground below to collect the Nailgun. Collect the Rockets to your left, then head through the Doors straight ahead. Kill the 2 Grunts and collect the Double-Barrelled Shotgun from the final Elevator side. Press the Button on the far side to descend to the lower floor.

Turn around as the Elevator reaches the lower floor, then head forward to enter the next room. Kill the 2 Scrags, 1 to the left and 1 to the right, then turn right and head down the stairs to collect the Double-Barrelled Shotgun. Turn left to descend to the lower floor, then turn around to kill the 2 Enforcers. Collect the Shells by the near side stairs and the 25 Health by the far side stairs, then turn around to look at the screen above you. Hit the Skybox Circle to cause a Movable Wall to open behind you, then turn around and enter the newly revealed alcove. If you get sealed in here, you can press the Button on the far side of the room to open the Movable Wall again. Collect the Quad Damage, then exit the hidden room. Head through the doorway in the upper left corner of the room, then turn right to kill the 2 Enforcers. The middle of this room is the central Elevator leading directly to the ship you started in, the Button on the far side lowers the Elevator. Head to the upper right corner to collect the Grenade Launcher, then turn around and head down the staircase. Ignore the ramp straight ahead for the time being. Blow up the 2 Radioactive Containers to your right, then turn around once more while moving to the left to look into the lower floor. Kill the Zombie in front of you, then head to your left to collect the Super Nailgun. Snipe the Zombie in the far right corner of the room, then head around the Crate to your left to kill another Zombie. Step onto the Elevator straight ahead that navigates between the floor you are currently on and the balcony with the Enforcers, then turn around and drop to a Crate. Continue forward, jumping onto another Crate to collect the Rocket Launcher. Turn around once more, then drop into the room. Blow up the 2 Radioactive Containers on the opposite side of the room, then head towards the Crate on the far side to collect the Double-Barrelled Shotgun. Head around the Crate by moving to the right, then continue forward to collect the 2 Nails. Turn left to kill another Zombie. Turn around, then head through the doorway in the upper left corner to collect the Green Armor.

Turn around once more, then head through the Door straight ahead. Kill the 2 Grunts straight ahead, the Spawn to your left, and the Spawn on the upper floor balcony. Head under the balcony to collect the Nailgun, then turn around. Collect the Green Armor under the darkened section of stairs to the right, then return to your previous position. Before heading up the stairs straight ahead, collect the Nails to your left. Follow the staircase as it turns around to reach the upper floor, then collect the Double-Barrelled Shotgun from the upper left corner. This is the lower portion of the third Elevator room, return to the main hub. Head through the Door just beside the Elevator moving between the two floors, turning right as you do such, while killing the Spawn in small corridor. Kill the Vore on the balcony to your left, then head to your left to enter the main portion of the room. Turn around to kill the Vore on the balcony above the doorway you entered. Turn around once more, then head to the upper left corner to collect the Cells. Head to the upper right corner to collect the Super Nailgun, this is also where the Button for the Elevator between the two corners is. You are currently below the second Elevator room, turn around and head up the staircase to reach the upper floor balcony. Follow the balcony, turning right twice as needed, to collect the Thunderbolt on the far side. Return to the main hub once more, then head up the ramp you previously ignored. Turn right as you enter the room, then follow the balcony to collect the Grenade Launcher. You just passed the another Elevator and Button set, leading to the first Elevator room. Turn left, then head down the next section of balcony to get the Rockets. Turn left to head down a flight of stairs, then turn around at the bottom to head down another flight of stairs. Kill the Fiend in the upper right corner, then head to said corner to collect the 25 Health. Turn left to cross the room once more, then turn left at the end to head to the next wall. Turn left a final time to collect the Yellow Armor. Head to the corner where you killed the Fiend, then look into the room and cross to the diagonal corner across from it. Drop into the pool of Water to kill the 2 Rotfish and collect the Nails, then ride the Waterfall straight ahead to reach the pipe above you. Head down the pipe to collect the 100 Health.
