In Quake III Arena, Medikits recover the player’s health. These come in two colors: yellow and gold. Yellow Medikits heal 25 HP, while gold Medikits heal 50 HP up to 100 health. Green medikits heal you 5 healths, even if you are at full health by standards and gives you a small overheal buff that decays over time.
