The N80 Assault Rifle is a standard-issue bullpup assault rifle for the G.D.F. for combat against the Strogg. It has a reputation as a versatile weapon. Because it stands against almost all odds, it is recommendable for any situations. It features a holographic sight permanently attached.
There is also a scoped version that Covert Ops can use, but Field Ops may also use it when it is unlocked.
An upgrade is also present for the Engineer, which allows the option to use a grenade launcher version, which disallows use of the sight
