Nurgle's Vault is a Single Player and Multiplayer level. This is intended to be a challenge on Nightmare, while relatively simple on Easy. It is advised to search for the Secrets.
While this level supports Multiplayer, it was entirely untested.
Quick Level Completion
- Head down the stairs, then press the Button.
- Proceed down the corridor to your left.
- After heading up a flight of stairs, turn right and drop to the floor below.
- Head up the stairs, then turn right and go up the stairs.
- Turn right before going up the stairs, then turn right.
- Head up the stairs to reach an intersection, then turn left and head up the stairs.
- Go through the Door at the top, then turn right and drop into the hole.
- Follow the corridor in the upper left corner of the room to an intersection.
- Head up the stairs, then turn right and follow the platform as it turns left.
- Turn left, then head up the stairs before turning left once more.
- Press the Button, then retrace your steps to the stair intersection.
- Follow the stairs heading down, then turn right and head through the doorway.
- Continue to the wall, then turn right and continue to the next wall.
- Turn left, then head down the stairs.
- Continue forward to collect the Gold Key, then head through the Teleporter straight ahead.
- Head up the stairs to your right, then go through the Gold Door to your left while turning left.
- Head to your right to press a Button, then proceed forward before turning right.
- Go through the opened doorway and head to the wall, then turn right.
- Head to the next wall, then turn left and continue forward to an Elevator.
- Proceed up the Elevator, then turn around at the top and follow the platforms to the far side.
- Turn right, then follow the corridor to the wall before turning left.
- Continue down the corridor to collect the Silver Key.
- Retrace your steps to the intersection with the path leading to the hole you dropped down, but this time continue forward.
- Turn right and follow the balcony, then turn left at the wall.
- Proceed forward through the Silver Door.
- Head to your right to follow the corridor, then step onto the Elevator at the end.
- At the bottom, head into the corridor to your left to hit a Shootable Button.
- Turn right, then head through the set of Bars that have been opened.
- Turn left, then head down the corridor to exit the level.
Walkthrough
Nurgle's Vault
To your right is the Gold Door. Kill the Grunt patrolling to your left, then head down the stairs straight ahead. Ignore the Button to your left, instead turning around. Head to your right to reach a pillar, then collect the 15 Health before turning left. Kill the Ogre in the alcove, then head into it to collect the Shells. Return to the Button, then press it to open the set of Bars to your left. Head through the newly opened corridor, then begin heading up a flight of stairs. Turn right to kill the Grunt through the window, then turn left once more. Head up the rest of the stairs, then kill the 2 Grunts in the area to your left. Collect the Double-Barrelled Shotgun straight ahead, this will cause a Movable Wall to open to the left in the corridor behind you. Enter the newly revealed alcove to kill the Grunt and collect the two 25 Health. Return to where you got the Double-Barrelled Shotgun, then turn left and drop to the room below. Head to the corner to collect the 25 Health, then turn right. Proceed to the wall straight ahead to collect the Yellow Armor, then turn around to kill the 2 Grunts behind the Movable Wall that just slid aside. Turn left, towards the staircase heading back to the bridge you were on, then head to your right to reach an area just beside the staircase. The Movable Wall will lower as you approach, revealing a small room. Collect the Grenade Launcher from this room, then kill the 2 Ogres that drop from the Ceiling when it slides aside.
Return to the area underneath the bridge, then begin moving forwards to reach another staircase. Head to the area to your right to reach an alcove behind the stairs. Turn left to kill the Grunt while collecting the 25 Health. Turn around, then hit the Shootable Wall to reveal a hidden alcove behind it (#1). Return to the staircase and head up it, then collect the Shells at the top. Turn right to head up another flight of stairs, then collect the 25 Health at the top. Turn right, then kill the Ogre at the top of the next flight of stairs. Kill the Grunt on the top of the structure to your right, then head up the stairs straight ahead. Continue to the wall to collect the Shells, then turn right and head up another flight of stairs to reach an intersection. Ignore the staircase to your left for the time being, instead continuing straight ahead before turning right at the wall. Kill the Ogre on the staircase to your right, then head down the one straight ahead to collect the Nails. Continue forward to collect the 25 Health, then turn left and head down the small staircase. Collect the two 25 Health, Rockets, and Shells near the bottom. Straight ahead is the Silver Door, so turn around and head up the staircase which previously had an Ogre on it. Collect the Shells at the top, then turn right and head up the next flight of stairs. Collect the Yellow Armor, then kill the 2 Scrags that spawn.
Return to the staircase you previously ignored, then head up it and go through the Door at the top. Collect the 2 Nails, then turn right to kill the Grunt. As you head down the corridor you will receive the message "Stay away!". Ignore the message and drop into the hole straight ahead. You land on a platform with Lava behind you. Kill the 2 Knights, 1 to your left and 1 to your right. Collect the 25 Health to your right, then head to the upper right corner to collect the Nails. Turn left, then begin hugging the right wall. An Elevator will lower, get on it while turning around to reach the balcony above. Collect the 15 Health and 2 Rockets, then turn around once more and drop to the floor below. Turn right and begin heading down the next corridor, then kill the Fiend to your right. As you continue forward a Movable Wall will open to your right, turn right to kill the Knight inside. Collect the two 15 Health to your left and Shells to your right, then return the the corridor and continue down it. You will reach an intersection of staircases, one heading up and one heading down, follow the one heading down. Turn left to collect the Nails from the alcove, then turn around to look into the room. Turn left and proceed towards the Door, then head into the alcove to your left to collect the 25 Health. Return to the Door and open it to reveal an alcove. Collect the Grenade Launcher straight ahead and kill the 2 Zombies, 1 to your left and 1 to your right.
Return to the previous room, then turn left to look towards another Door. The Door is locked, so instead head to the upper left corner to head up an Elevator. Kill the Zombie on the platform to your right and the Zombie straight ahead, then proceed forward. Jump onto the structure to your right to collect the Nailgun, then return to the previous balcony and continue down it to collect the 100 Health. Turn right to kill the Zombie, then head down the platform. Drop to the platform to your right, where you killed the Zombie upon riding up the Elevator. Straight ahead is the staircase you ignored at the intersection of staircases, so head to the wall straight ahead before turning left. Head up the staircase, then turn left at the top to kill the Shambler. Hit the Shootable Wall in the lower right corner to reveal a hidden alcove (#2). Collect the Nails to your left, then head up the small staircase to hit the Button. Turn around to kill the 2 Zombies that spawned behind you, then return to the previously locked Door that was opened by the Button. Kill the Zombie through the opened doorway, then turn left to kill the Fiend in a newly revealed alcove that was hidden behind a Movable Wall. Proceed forward into the alcove, then turn left to collect the Shells and 25 Health.
Return to the newly opened doorway and head to the wall, then turn right. Kill the Zombie on a ramp, then continue forward to the next wall. Turn left to kill the Zombie, then move forward slightly to kill another Zombie on the ramp straight ahead. Head down the stairs, then kill the Death Knight in the next room. Turn left to kill the Scrag, then turn around to kill another Scrag. Head to the wall, then turn left to look down the length of room. Proceed forward to collect the Shells, Rockets, and 25 Health. Head to your left to collect the Gold Key, then continue forward through the Teleporter. You are now in the starting room, turn around to kill 2 Rottweilers in a newly revealed alcove to your right that was previously concealed by a Movable Wall. Enter the alcove, then turn left to collect the 25 Health. Return to the Gold Door and head through it. Kill the Vore to your left, then continue forward into the room. Head to the upper left corner to collect the two 25 Health, then head to the lower right corner to collect the Shells. Turn around, then hit the Shootable Wall in the dark corner to reveal a hidden alcove (#3). Continue forward to collect the two 15 Health, then hit the Button to your right. Proceed forward slightly, then look through the corridor that was behind Movable Wall that temporarily slides aside when the Button was hit. Kill the 2 Enforcers in the corridor. Press the Button once more, but this time head to the middle of the room to get on an Elevator.
Turn right at the top to collect the 2 Nails, the closer will trigger a trap that displays the message "Gotcha!". A Movable Wall will slide aside on the ceiling, kill the 2 Scrags revealed behind it. Return to the floor below, then head to the wall opposite the Button. A Movable Wall has slid aside to reveal an alcove, kill the 3 Zombies inside. Turn left to collect the 25 Health, then turn around to collect the 2 Rockets from the opposite side. Press the Button once more, then head into the corridor where you killed the Enforcers. The Movable Wall will automatically open when you approach it from this side, so you are not sealed in the corridor. Proceed to the wall, then turn right to kill the 2 Enforcers. Collect the Nails to your left, then continue to the wall before turning left. Kill the Enforcer in the next corridor, then head down it. Collect the 2 Nails near the end of the hallway, 1 to your left and 1 to your right, before stepping forward onto an Elevator. Turn around, then step onto the platform to collect the Shells. Follow the platforms to reach the middle of the room. Drop to the beam on the left wall, then hit the Shootable Wall to your left to reveal a hidden alcove (#4). Collect the Red Armor on the middle platform, then kill the 2 Enforcers that spawn, 1 behind you and 1 in front of you. Follow the platforms to the far side from the Elevator, then head to your left to collect the Rockets.
Turn right to kill the Fiend, then head up the stairs and follow the corridor to collect the Rocket Launcher at the end. Turn left to kill another Fiend, then proceed forward to collect the Silver Key. Retrace your steps to the corridor below the series of platforms, then head to the wall before turning right. Kill the Spawn that appeared when you collected the Silver Key. Continue down the corridor before turning left at the end, then kill another Spawn that appeared when you collected the Silver Key. Retrace your steps to the staircase leading to the upper floor intersection near the starting room. Head up the stairs before turning right, then head up the stairs before turning right. Begin heading up the next flight of stairs, then kill the Fiend in the shadows straight ahead that spawned when you collected the Silver Key. Continue to the Silver Door, then kill the Fiend that has spawned in front of it. Open the Silver Door, then kill the 3 Zombies in the next corridor. Follow the corridor to your right, then head onto the Elevator at the end.
The Elevator will raise and lower when you are near it, meaning you are not trapped in this section. Kill the 4 Zombies in the room at the bottom, then move to your left to collect the 2 Rockets and two 25 Health. Head to your right, crossing the room, to collect the 3 Nails, then kill the Vore in the corridor to your left. Head diagonally to your left, a Movable Wall will slide open to your right. Quickly turn right to kill the Vore revealed behind it. Turn around, then head to your right to collect the two 25 Health beside the corridor where you killed the first Vore in this room. Kill the Zombie in the shadows to your left. Head to the wall, then turn right to hit the Shootable Button near the ceiling. Turn right to look into the previous room, straight ahead is a set of Bars that are lowering due to you hitting the Shootable Button. Proceed through the newly opened corridor, then turn left to kill the 2 Zombies. Proceed forward, towards the exit sign, to exit the level.
