—Mission briefing |
The Outer Hangar is a smaller support facility to the Strogg hangar complex. It seems to deal primarily with incoming and outgoing cargo or passengers.
The area features a hidden landing pad, with a massive teleporter device nearby.
Access to the Inner Hangar is only granted to the local Tank Commander, after verification of identity at a scanner. Therefore, a human marine might need to steal the Commander's head.

Secrets
- #1) From the starting room, go down to the lower level and clear out the enemies waiting for you; then, look at the angled pipe to the left of the exit door. Jump up and over it to the other side to get an Adrenaline.
- #2) From the previous secret, head outside, clear out the enemies (including the Barracuda Sharks in the water), then dive under the water and head towards the Power Conduit and large, spinning fan. Destroy the conduit to disable the fan, then surface and drop in through the pool of water that leads to the other side of the fan; there is a long tunnel here (you may need to pop on a Rebreather to get through without drowning) and surface on the other end to come to a large, outdoor secret area with some enemies, Health, Ammo, and a suit of Combat Armor.
- #3) While still in the previous secret, head to the indoor area the Tank was patrolling inside earlier. There is an elevator in here that will take you to the final secret map of the game, Comm Satellite.
- #4) (2023 remaster only): In the outdoor area found in secret #2, look for a small rock protruding from the rock face opposite the underwater tunnel. Shoot it to reveal a cheeky secret.
