PRO-Q3TOURNEY8: Dark Reign is a standalone map by Anonymous for Quake 3 Arena, which is available for download from the Internet.
The Map[]
The map was mistakenly identified as one of id Software's maps, until it was discovered via decompilation that the brushwork was very different to that of id Software maps.
By default, the map's sole bot occupant is Xaero. It's a medium-large map, so tourneys in this map are lackluster, & confrontations are few & far between. The most likely reason that this map was given this name by the author is because the map's design loosely resembles a figure 8.
