Last Bastion is the seventh level of The Corridors of Time. As its name implies, this is the last of Quake's strongholds before the final battle. Players will have to solve a few simple puzzles within the fortress and avoid numerous deadly traps.

Secrets

At the start, jump in the moat. There's a underwater cave on the left side. After you entered it, swim up. You can find the Yellow Armor and two 25 Health there. Beware of the waiting Enforcer. |

When you are at the squasher, you need to start it. If you get caught in front of it, shoot the button beyond the axes. Get behind the squasher and press the key on the back wall (there is sufficient room behind it to survive). It will open a secret room between the two silver-key doors whre you will find the Ring of Shadows. |

After completing secret 2. There is some green goo and a high-voltage discharge into it. High up on the insulator is a switch. Shoot it to open a secret door. In the small room you will find a 100 Health. |

After falling through the wooden floor you need to run to the end of the two corridors marked with red arrows and activate the switches. That opens the bars. There are two candles in each corridor, too. Shoot all four of them and a secret door opens opposite the exit. There you will find the Pentagram of Protection. |

After you finished the swamp by activating the bridge and opening the portcullis, take the lift. On the upper left-hand side, there is a red button. It activates some steps in the opposite wall leading to the platform with a Red Armor. |
