The Random Powerup Respawn is a feature in Dissolution of Eternity intended to randomize which powerup can be collected in a specific location. It is claimed to help prevent camping.

Although it was intended to be an anti-camping method, it actually encourages camping in a general area as a player with one of these powerups can get a new one immediately after the existing one. Specifically, the items in the original game respawn after 30 seconds, and the Power Shield and Anti-Grav Belt respawn after one minute.
