Research Lab is the 15th level of Quake II (Nintendo 64 version).
This is the second level in Quake II 64 where the player encounters captured marines who cannot be freed but only be killed to end their suffering.

Secrets[]
- #1) Progress though the map until you ride an elevator up to a room with 2 bulletproof glass panels in front of you; the one on the left will have a Marine impaled on a spike, and the one on the right contains a suit of Combat Armor. Run around to the back of the room, take out the Gladiator, and blow open the cracked/sparking panel to get to it.
- #2) In the room where you disable the Energy Core, take out the two Icaruses that emerge from the exploded ceiling panel, then shoot the Impact Switch on the ceiling where they flew down from to open the slightly-brighter colored portion of wall to your left to find an Adrenaline.
- #3) Past this secret, activate the energy bridge to cross the previously-impassable room, and take the elevator up. Clear out the enemies here, go into the yellowish-colored room to the far-right corner, and turn around to spot an Impact Switch on the upper portion of the threshold. Shooting it opens the wall across from you, containing a Quad Damage.
