A Rune is an undocumented powerup introduced in Dissolution of Eternity. It is available only for Deathmatch, and remains with the player until they are killed. The runes persist in the world for 2 minutes, at which point they will reappear at a deathmatch spawn point.
They are only available if gamecfg
has 1
set in its bitfield, and only during deathmatch.

- Earth Magic: Halves incoming damage.
- Black Magic: Doubles damage of attacks.
- Hell Magic: Reduces attack delay by 1/3.
- Elder Magic: Heals 5 health per second.

- If a player disconnects while carrying the rune, it is permanently removed from the game.
