Shadow Palace is a Multiplayer level in Q2. This level has the same geometry as Entering Nuclear Hell, though placement of Ammo and Weapons is entirely different. Though designed to be a Multiplayer level, no Multiplayer spawn locations exist and therefore the player can only play this level in the Single Player mode.

Spawn Locations

  • Room #2 beside doorway to Room #3: This room is used as a semi-origin point, the true origin point is the room to the left from the initial spawn orientation, this latter room is referred to as Room #1. The lower floor consists of four Rooms, each progressively connecting to the previous. Room #1 and Room #4 also have staircases which lead to the upper floor; these rooms are referred to as Room #11 and Room #5. The Rooms between Room #5 and Room #11 connect progressively to one another. Room #7 is a small corridor, while Room #8 has a small side room that is referred to as Room #9. This means that Room #10 does not connect to Room #9 and instead connects to Room #8, otherwise the rooms continue to be connected to one another in a numerical fashion so that, for example, Room #10 connects to Room #11. Room #11 connects to Room #12, which is another corridor, which in turn connects to Room #13. Room #13 connects to Room #14 and Room #14 connects to Room #15, which is yet another corridor. Room #15 is connected to another small side room, Room #16, meaning that Room #17 is connected to Room #15 and not Room #16. Room #18 is connected to Room #17. Room #18 is also connected to Room #7 and is the doorway directly across from the one leading to Room #6.
