| “ | Even in decorating his halls, Quake has not scrimped on any expenses in protecting his home. The stone statues seem to have a life of their own. Triggered by what, you ask? Step a little closer... closer.. now, while you're picking up your limbs, remind yourself never to do that again. | ” |

—Dissolution of Eternity Manual | ||
Statues are enemies that appear in the expansion pack to Quake entitled Dissolution of Eternity. They first act as simple scenery, but if the player presses a switch or opens a door, they will come to life and attack. This may also happen if the player turns their back to the Statue, so be aware of your surroundings. There are two variants: the first being identical to a Knight and the second being identical to a Death Knight. They only appear in R2M1: Tempus Fugit.
The Statues have the same health as the original monsters (Knight and Death Knight's health).
Strategy
- Like the Knight and Death Knight, the Super Shotgun or Nailgun or Super Nailgun are effective whilst circle strafing to avoid their attacks. Rocket Launchers and Grenade Launchers can be used for quick kills from a safe distance; note that they will be continually charging due to a reliance on melee attacks.
Death Messages
- "Player" was slashed by a Knight (Statue)
- "Player" was slain by a Death Knight (Statue)
Appearances
Trivia
- The larger Death Knight statue has the Quake symbol on its chest, much like Ogres do.
- Despite ostensibly being made from stone, statues bleed when damaged, and their gibs are stained red.
