Private Stern is a character featured in Quake IV. He is a member of Badger Squad in the Space Marine Corps and participates in the Second Invasion of Stroggos.

Stern is a member of the security team under the command of Sergeant Stetson guarding the elevator of the USS Hannibal. When Corporal Kane approaches the elevator while it is descending, Stetson is seen ordering his men to spread out around the elevator to avoid any surprises.
