TF 1.3: SIEGE or Siege is a Multiplayer level. This level features a small fortress surrounded by hills, pillboxes, and darkness.

This level is a modified version of Fort Siege that was intended for usage with the 1.3 release of TeamFortress. Note that no credits were given to the original level in the documentation.

This level can have frequent graphical issues due to the openness and scale of the level.

Changes to the original level include lighting; overall the level is much darker than the original. A Double-Barrelled Shotgun along with some Shells were added to the hill in front of the Nailgun. An additional set of Nails was also added. Geometry-wise, the tunnel underneath the highest hill was expanded to be wider than the original release. The Shootable Button takes more shots in this release, plus has a noticable delay. The Water is blue instead of brown.

Defense

Team one in this map is the defending team. They are to protect the fort from invaders for ten minutes, whereupon the level will automatically end (even if a timelimit is not set).

Team two is the attacking team; they spawn inside the newly expanded area underneath the highest hill. They get twenty frags if they make it to the area behind the grating on the lower floor and touch the upper left corner. Note that team two can only score once using this method.

Note that this level is somewhat a hybrid between a normal Deathmatch and a defense-style level. While team two can score by touching the back wall, inevitably it is just a bonus to the team score as opposed to a win condition. After the back wall has been touched, the remaining time is spent as a normal TeamFortress match.
