- The level's name is a reference to Dario and Milo Casali, who worked on Final Doom, an expansion pack for Doom 2 that consists of two new 32 level sets, TNT: Evilution and the Plutonia Experiment. The Casali Brothers contributed some levels to Evilution and the entirety of Plutonia. Dario would notably later go on to work at Valve Software from 1997 to 2022.
- As such, this stage contains the hallmarks of the Casalis' work in Plutonia; namely, a small map with great attention to detail and hordes of monsters to fight.
