"Anaconda - Quake: The Temple of the Mist" was a custom level partial conversion for Quake authorized by Sony Pictures to promote the 1997 release of their film Anaconda. It features a short largely underwater level featuring uzi weilding snakemen and a final battle with the titular anaconda. Level design was by Steve Thoms (MagicMan), the models and QuakeC edits were done by S.Y. Tan (BUBBAH), while C. Bolin created the Snakeman skin and Lucas Pope, later creator of Papers, Please, made the skin for the Anaconda. Pope would soon after work on Malice for Quake alongside Sian Yue Tan.
