Corporal Vainio is a character featured in Quake IV. He is a member of Raven Squad in the Space Marine Corps and participates in the Second Invasion of Stroggos.

Second Invasion of Stroggos[]
Vainio is part of the team investigating the hangar facility under the command of First Lieutenant Cork after the hangars have been destroyed. He is seen ordering Private Richards to have some equipment prepared and ready within an hour. Richards argues that just unloading the equipment will take an hour, but Vainio is having none of his excuses and demands results. He then walks towards a ledge and stays there.
